Readyforce, The LinkedIn for College Students, Announces Hacker Tour 2013
We are super psyched to announce that the dates and college campuses for the second annual Hacker Tour are set. The Hacker Tour 2013 is getting ready to roll and companies are snapping up the limited number of sponsorship opportunities.
Even bigger this year, the 2013 Hacker Tour will be expanding to 35 of the top engineering and computer science campuses across 25 states starting in September. While some of the stops are the same as last year and some are new, the mission remains the same: to connect the top engineering and computer science talent from colleges around the US to the most exciting tech and startup companies around. Only we’re going to do it bigger and better!
Last year’s tour was a huge success and we’re aiming even higher with more stops and additional promotion opportunities.
A Look Down Memory Lane… Hacker Tour 2012
Here’s a few pics from last year’s tour:
Last year we hit 25 campuses and hosted all kinds of fun events a long the way. Coding challenges, hackathon sponsorships, speakers series and of course giveaway contests were just some of the ways we engaged with students while logging more than 6,000 miles. During the 2012 tour, we met THOUSANDS of students on behalf of the 2012 Tour Sponsors. This outreach saved the companies HOURS of travel time and expenses and provided great exposure to students. Just wait and see what we have up our sleeves for this year’s tour…
