Evan Noon, a Junior at the University of Michigan will be adding Intern at Facebook to his already awesome Readyforce profile after this summer. We’re really excited to have introduced the two on our platform!

We recently spoke to Evan about his search on Readyforce and asked him how the platform helped him in his job search and what advice he might have for some of his classmates that are still looking.
Evan credits the easy setup that allowed him to get up and running connecting with companies right away. He also appreciated the ability for him to add video to his profile to help tell his story.
When we asked him what advice he’d share with fellow students either about to embark on or in the middle of their career search he had the following pointers:
- Show a project that you worked on and in which you were able to do a ‘deep dive.’ In Evan’s case, he highlighted the rugby website he built for his club at the University of Michigan.
- Be creative in your profile, have the person reading have fun getting to learn about you.
- Be well-rounded. Evan shared that he felt that companies were really looking for this quality in candidates since they are trying to solve world-wide real problems and it helps to have people who can come to the table with different perspectives and pull from varying backgrounds.
